Jewellery, for women, has always been a form of self-expression, something that has accompanied them through every occasion, made them feel special and confident and kept that inner goddess ever so excited to flaunt her style.
As an influencer I would get a lot of compliments on my style from my followers. But in addition to that, I would also get a lot of inquiries about where I got the jewellery from. And that drew my attention to something - that my audience was facing two major issues - accessibility and affordability.

Jewellery has been the bridge that connects magic with reality. The stuff that we look for in shooting stars and crescent moon.

A lack of availability of such pieces in the Indian market made them less accessible. Even when people could find them, they were hard to afford or were of bad quality.

That's when I came up with KAVA. Designing jewellery that my community was looking for - a combination of my unique style with unmatchable craftsmanship, but affordable.
I wanted everyone to feel as empowered and elegant as I felt when I wore the jewellery I liked.

How is KAVA Jewelry Made?

The Journey of KAVA Jewelry starts in Jaipur, India. Where each piece is carefully hand made by artisans. Each piece of jewelry is unique exactly for this reason, no two rings will be the same, no two necklaces identical. Your necklace, ring, earring from KAVA has been specifically made for just you, with intricacies, perfections and imperfections that will truly match your own. 

Melted, forged, polished and shined to perfection, before it's ready to be adorned by you! Each order is hand packed so that from the point of receiving your jewelry to putting it in your hand, it is truly an experience. Each order is packed with love, and in the most luxurious handmade pouches, then delivered to you. These pouches are made out of the finest velvet and suede!

    Every piece of KAVA Jewelry is stamped with 925, the stamp 925 is used to identify genuine sterling silver jewelry, which contains 92.5% silver.

Gold & 1 Micron Plated

KAVA Jewelry is all 1 micron or above for all our gold pieces! You may not know the difference between gold plating and 1 micron plating, and the truth is, it's one of the most important aspects to consider when buying gold plated jewelry.

Gold plated "sounds" great, but what is it really? Typical gold plating is a process in which any metal or silver based jewelry is coated with a thin layer of real gold. These jewelry items are those which are dipped in a gold bath just enough to give the jewelry a gold color and even finish. This is extremely thin coating and typically the process which most fast fashion jewelry brands use. The plating usually wears off within a few wears. It’s not a durable and long-lasting option.

1 micron plating is more than double the thickness of typical gold plated jewelry. Any gold plating that’s 1 micron or up is good quality gold plating. As a comparison, flash plating is under 0.175 micron. KAVA Jewelry is all 1 micron or up for all our gold pieces, only the best quality for you. Typically 1 micron of gold plating on jewelry, if handled carefully without perfumes or soap will last for more than 2 to 3 years.
